Alex Ferrante was born in Dallas Texas, and grew up between rural north eastern Oklahoma and south Texas. He earned his MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2018 and has completed residencies in Pennsylvania and New York State. He attended seminars at the American Academy in Rome and has exhibited across the United States in artist run spaces, galleries and museums such as San Angelo Museum of Art, TX, South Texas Museum of Art, TX, University of Colorado Boulder Museum of Art, CO, Millersville University, PA, Living Arts in Tulsa Oklahoma, OK, and Singapore Art Museum, SG. Alex is currently an artist in residence at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia.
